Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated ESG Expert to join our Sustainability consulting team. This role will involve providing strategic guidance, conducting ESG assessments, and advising clients on integrating ESG best practices into their operations to enhance sustainability performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed ESG assessments and gap analyses.
  • Develop ESG strategies, frameworks, and policies tailored to client needs.
  • Provide technical guidance on ESG standards, including IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, and other international frameworks.
  • Support clients in preparing sustainability reports aligned with standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagements and consultations for ESG-related initiatives.
  • Track regulatory changes and industry trends related to ESG and sustainability.
  • Lead or contribute to ESG training workshops and capacity-building sessions for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams on integrated E&S projects.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or related fields (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in ESG consulting, sustainability management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and international sustainability standards.
  • Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Preferred

  • Professional certifications (e.g., ESG Analyst, Sustainability Reporting Specialist).
  • Previous experience working on projects funded by international financing institutions.
